Ch-ch-ch-changes

For some time now, I've wanted to tweak the appearance here and add some new functions, etc. A couple of things have coincided in the past several days to make me go ahead and move forward in earnest. First, my dear blogging friend, Stasia, has developed into a bit of a Wordpress whiz and has offered to help me out getting moved over to a Wordpress with a similar but different kind of layout.

And then, this past weekend happened. There is so much I'd love to write about everything that happened, but there are just so many local folks and others I have relationships in certain ways that know about and visit this site fairly often. Because they do, some of the function that the ole blog used to serve cannot be fulfilled anymore. Stasia tells me there are ways to password protect on different levels the posts on Wordpress. That being the case, I'll be able to write about the crazy things that have happened over the past few weeks and in particular the past weekend and let my most trusted inner circle of blogging friends and readers to read while at the same time allowing others to read the safer stuff. Our friend ML from Tenacious put it best in an email:

"I wish that so many people you know didn't read your site.
Think about it, for the most part people start blogs to get inner feelings
out that they wouldn't talk about or let people in on in their "real world",
such as is a diary, well now you have ALL these people in your real world
who read your "diary" and now the reason for starting the blog in the first
place is void, and it has moved on from an inner-feeling diary of sorts to a
venue for people to catch up with your life in the "at arms length" way that
you let them in the "real world". Does this make sense? You've lost your
privacy.... sad :-( "
