On my way...

Hoo-boy. Has it really been 12 days since your humble correspondent reported to you, gentle readers? A break in the writing and blogging has been nice, yet a growing and nagging pull to get back into the swing of things has been growing and poking me in the ribs and threatening to tickle me until I write again or pee. Or pee again.

In any event, I'm back for now and for a bit, and golly, do I have plenty to write about, comment on, and clean up the house. My honorable (yes, I'm being very generous) colleague, Eric has made a slight mess, nothing like what others have done on their guestblogging exploits, but still. (I saw the story about the naked 23 year old covered in nacho cheese and immediately thought to myself, "I hope Eric doesn't see that...") I'm glad Key came by, even though she had to use Eric's keys. Of course, she had to try to redeem herself a bit on our last ~~disagreement~~ discussion. Now, as to her problems getting her keys to work, I have just two words for her: "case sensitive." And for some curious reason, I did notice that she had logged in per my activity log. I suppose she liked pretending she was a straight white guy. Despite my great affection for her, she can be an utter pogue sometimes.

In any event, as I told a friend in an email recently, I feel like I've spent more time outside than the Crocodile Hunter lately. I have two Buffalo River trips to report on, a trip to Lake Hamilton, another Arkansas River trip, etc., etc. Oh and there is the Bachelor Party BBQ that taught me a new redneck technique--the redneck microwave. Now some of you have already learned what such a contraption is and you are disqualified. For those who have not heard from me what it is, we'll have a little contest-- tell me what a redneck microwave is, either in the comments or in a post trackbacked here. Later this week (Friday; Saturday at the latest), I'll provide pictures. Winner gets something to be determined. Speaking of, anyone with some Photoshop skills, I could use a lot of help in getting some things ready for the SSG shop. Drop me an email and we'll get started.

In the meantime, remember don't ever read a child a bedroom story that has been in Sandy Berger's pants or socks.

Now, smartass, allow me to point something out to you and your case-sensitive patronization...

The keys got me in! "IN" wasn't the problem! The keys worked to get me to the main menu page, which had EVERYTHING BUT an option to add an entry.

Eric, testify...Tell the man!

Jeez. Maybe I was wrong all those times that I thought I wanted a big brother... ; )
