Never the Full Story

As Michele and I both noted in our posts this morning as we blogged Rudy Giuliani's testimony before the National Commission on Terrorist Attacks, Rudy had much louder and more numerous support among the audience than the few loud rabble rousers and distraught family members.

Now we have an AP article on the hearing. Headline:

Families Heckle Giuliani at 9/11 Hearing

There is only one mention of the support the audience offered Giuliani--

""Our enemy is not each other but the terrorists who attacked us, murdered our loved ones and continue to offer a threat to our security, safety and survival," Giuliani said to applause."

Once again, we see the news reported as something other than the whole truth. To borrow a phrase from my fine Georgia pal, Dax-- Just Damn!

I was looking for articles last night - Google News had about 200 papers listed for this article alone. I couldn't find anything that didn't emphasize the heckling over anything else that was said at the hearing. Sad.
