If you are looking for the Nick Berg Beheading Video, you can find it in a number of places near here. However, before I present a link for you let me repeat what I said earlier...

I warn you in the strongest way I possibly can; this video, these images may just be the most disturbing thing I have ever seen. I advise you not to watch it. However, if you have to see for yourself the epitome of evil we are fighting in the war on terror....

May God be with Nick Berg and his family.

You can find it at the following places--

Our Father which art in heaven, hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive them that trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation. But deliver us from evil. Amen.

i`m not a advocate of war....but i do know this.their religion looks at us as infidels.no matter how radical or passive they are...we are the enemy.make no mistake.....this could be you.your child, your brother (or sister).they don`t like us and we don`t like them.war is coming...on a global scale.its sad to say but its true.after watching the vid it makes me feel numb.so with that i say this...right or wrong...you better pick your side.cause if your in the middle your in the way.and thats what i think that poor soul(nick berg)found out.helping your enemy don`t pay.

Don't you realize that religion is the problem here. I don't think invoking any God or prayer is the solution.

Shame on you, Adam, for being one of the many lost blogger sheep who are disrespecting Nick Berg's family and exploiting his death by proffering links to those Islamic psychos' snuff film. I believe you have good intentions, but you are seriously misguided. Having the brutal murder of an innocent passed around the internet like frat boys pass around porn proves to me that those terrorists succeeded in their goal.

This, needs to be able to be seen. It is 1st amendment right...On another note, those US soilders, who mistreated the prisioners, need to be shown this video over and over...they seem to have no remorse for what they have done...well here it is in plain view!!!

@brian:
it's not the evil you are fighting. it's the evil america woke up. i can't see any difference between beheading someone or a lethal injection or a electric chair.
anyways: ever tried to fight fire with fire and succeeded? guess not.

The last time I checked, everyone in the world wants to come to the USA, except for these extremist Moslems who want to kill every decadent non-Moslem. If you believe in human rights, you better side with the US, because regardless of your liberal leanings or your desire to replace the current president, we will be winning this war, whether it's in the middle east or here at home. The sooner you stop belly-aching and get with the program, we'll be able to kill as many of them as it takes to win.

Otherwise, get used to the idea of losing your mommy or daddy or other family members before you come to the inevitable conclusion: it's either them or us.

I just saw the video. My heart is racing and I, for a moment, thought I was seeing a bad bad movie. Only it's real. There is evil...and I just saw it. My heart aches for Nick and what he must have gone through...in those last moments. God rest his soul!

What you are all so blind to see is that the question is not about bravery in Irak or whatever. The question is: what are you Americans doing there in the first place? All the rest of the world can see the absurdity of your interference and we look at you in disbelief. It is true that these monster who killed Berg are barbaric, but you will get that kind or reaction from radicals in any country in which you interfere on such a scale. Let me inform you that the rest of the world are looking at Americans in growing disgust. Even though you are a democracy and in most instances a great civilisation, you are doing yourself no favour by invading more than 70 countries since WWII. That's right - check the facts, 70 countries. Maybe you should start setting a better example to all because we want to look up to you but at the moment it is impossible. The anger under Muslem radicals is by far worse than before the war and you cannot fight against such a force - you have to win over the sympathy of all the sensible Muslims in the world so that they can take care of this problem. Violence perpetuates violence - that you can believe. See how South Africa solved its conflict and dealt with the bitterness.

I just came back from iraq. I just watched the video. I've seen gruesome things. People in pieces. And its not somebody being beheaded that bothered me. I'm not weak. But what makes me sick to my stomach is that this is a man who had no involvement in this war. This is a man who had no blood on his hands. This is a man innocently murdered. Are we learning anything about these people yet? I have, ignorance and misguided principles have doomed those people to a neverending hell, from which they are unwilling to escape. There is nothing to justify the actions these terrorists have taken. It makes no sense whatsoever. And the shameful part is, they would have thought up another excuse (other then the humiliation of iraqi prisoners) if one hadn't been so readily available, and killed this man in the exact same fashion. This is what you get when you try to help them. They deserve all they receive in retalliation for their actions. And believe me, as a former U.S. Soldier I know..... there will be retalliation.

Funny, people didnt cry much with the media showing grapic images of the "highway to hell" from the first Gulf War! How many innocent people were executed during that operation while just trying to get out of KUWAIT! Georgie Porgie did not care about them! So as for the beheading video, bring it on! It is the cost of empirical occupation! One must review there history books to understand the true nature of expanding ones empire! If it were Iraqi's in the US, it would be the exact same!

Believe it or not, Western Civilization is in a battle for its survival. Unfortunately, many in Europe and America still don't realize that yet. The Spanish philosophy Santayana said that "Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it." We are living in an era similar to 1937 when Hitler was on the move. He could have been stopped by the French who had a bigger army and better equipment. He could have been stopped by the Brits, but Chamberlain was naive and didn't see the writing on the wall. Thus, the world was subjected to Hitler's madness and the death of millions. Don't believe the bull shit about how they beheaded Nick Berg in retaliation for the so-called torture of Iraqi prisoners. These medieval madmen don't need an excuse. It's their mission to kill all christians, jews, infidels, indeed, all in western civilzation who don't bow to their brand of Islam. How many more Olympic athletes, blown up planes, and the endless terrorist attacks that even cause more damage on American soil than the armies of Germany or Japan. Wake up World!! For those people who make statements about the USA invading countries (70 since WWII) please take into consideration that the countries were usually in trouble from forces that did not have the general popluations best interests in mind. Where do you live?

The nuke statement was idiotic and the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

It seems that people have made posts from other coutries. And those other countries, more than likely, has state run TV i.e. news. Here in the USA we have no sensorship through the news so we are able to see all sides of a story. Where as in other countries, such as the old regiem in Iraq, people only learned and saw what the leaders wanted them to see.

People in these countries are so brain washed they don't understand the possibilities of a free country where the leaders don't loot the entire countries fortune. Keep in mind that Saddam killed 500,000+++ of his own people through chemical weapons.

If we don't go after the radicals they will grow in numbers and will affect those of you who don't believe in this war. Don't look at "now" look at the future for your childrens chrildren. We did not "wake up the evil" but we will put it to sleep.

How many countries have a trully free press, can vote, have a strong economic system with low unemployment? Don't be misslead by those around you. Find out the facts before you start to make statements that are not your own but are told to you by others. This is the problem is 3rd world countries. People believe what they are told and don't have any original thooughts.

I don't know how we find and kill the cowardly bastards that murdered Nick Berg, but we must. We have to find the most humilating death possible for the suicide bombers and their whole worthless family that think that they are wonderful, and display it to the world. We Americans have to quit trying to be such nice guys and appologizing for every little infraction, when these bastards openly commit murder. Wise up, if we are a super power, then the whole f..king world had better know it and be afraid.

Let us remember that it was these people who started this war. They attacked us first. September 11th Therefore, we have every right to be in Iraq and Afghanastan fighting the war on terror. We have every right to defend ourselves and our way of life.

My prayers are with the Berg family. My thoughts and prayers are with our troops over there in harms way.

These people only know hatred, and that is why they killed this man.

German said:

Yes, Germany in WWII, German. We didn't quell the Nazis with candy or rice donations (though we tried using Poland), and we didn't worry much about root causes. Germany was full of evil which was only going to be pacified by force. And now it is not only no longer evil, it's passive and limp, and unwilling to even respond to evil. Quite a transformation, I'd say.

Watch this video, and tell me what it is America should do to make these guys happy. How much rice do we need to send? Perhaps they are upset about all the sex seen in Western culture through Hollywood movies: maybe we should ban the bikinis and get J-Lo a burka? Some people think if we nuked Israel they'd like us for a while. Are they waiting for us to sign the Kyoto protocal? Would that do it? Tell me. Cause you know, we might be willing to do it, if you can assure us it would stop all this, but we have to know how far we have to go before we can sign on. In the mean time, we'll keep marching to the new Berlin.

Wir wünschen, daß Sie helfen würden.

Posted by: Michael at May 13, 2004 01:55 PM

Where to start....how about the top...

'No matter how radical or passive they are....we are the enemy.'
What the hell are you talking about? The Muslim religion is not about killing us. The Muslim religion itself is one of the most tolarant religions for people who believe in other gods and such. A little research on the religion would do you some good.

'It is 1st amendment right'
Ok, I'll give you that one but you totally missed what discusted was saying.

And as for all of the:
'never been a better time to use a nuke'
'nuke the slurpee serving sobs'
'just blow them all up and get rid of the lot , we dont need them onthis earth'

You're all idiots. I'm not one to name call but damn. Lets just pretend for a minute that we nuke them off the earth. We no longer have to worry about the terrorist there but we need to worry about everyone else. If we ever just nuked a country outright like that everyone would and should come after us. Doing that would make Bush the next Hitler. Just because there are many terrorists over there doesn't mean there aren't innocent people over there as well.

'Leftism' You must mean compasion for human life cause your next statement is 'I agree bomb em.'

'no one ever should have to have their
children taken like that. if i could i would kill
one of those sobs myself by cutting them from stern to neck while thier family watched and then i would rejoice that another one bit the dust.'
Can you be little more contradictory? What you just said is, this should never happen to anyone, but if I had the chance, I'd do it.

'Wise up, if we are a super power, then the whole f..king world had better know it and be afraid.'
There you go, lets rule with fear cause we're a cool super power. No one can be as cool as us cause they should be afraid of us cause we're a super power.

Just remember, terrorists did this, not Muslims so we have ever right to bring these terrorists to justice.

Posted by: The Dude at May 13, 2004 02:09 PM

Well, so many people refuse to understand what moderation might be ...
When a terrorist pops up in a country, the method of several people here would be to nuke the country itself ??
Then you should nuke US or at least Oklahoma because you had there a incredible terrorist, Timothy McVeigh... Hope you don't live there ...
Please think about it twice, maybe you know some people there, which you take as valuable persons. The same applies to Iraq, even if it looks like there are more terrorists in Iraq at the moment.

Yes, this video, well, actually this murder and the use made out of it (the broadcasted video all over the world) is horrible and more than blamable, no question about that. Terrorism is unacceptable.
Yes, Sadam was an horrible guy

Nevertheless, extremism calls extremism, and it seems that methods on both sides are not that compliant with Geneva Convention.
All these pictures certainly also hit all muslims mind ALL OVER THE WORLD.

I think the trends has to be inverted, to go towards more moderation, but this is more than hard now. US soldiers went to Iraq with full empowerment of their generals, maybe too much. Since the begining methods are very radical on both sides, Several 10th of thousand of Iraqi where killed when US bombed the whole country, including families, women, children, innocent people, people forced to stay in the army & so on.
On the other side, so many US soldiers and other citizens where killed, we see it here with a babarian method. Think about all the people who have lost their son, their husband, their friend, their father...

Since the beginning the extremist game is played, and the result is that the most popular guy in Iraq is now a muslim extremist, and Al Qaeda jumped into this game.
Well done Georgie Porgie ... There are now much more Al Qaeda fans in the world than 2 years before.

Hi My Friends,
Just one question, why? When will this ever stop? The killing, sin, this battle, both physical and spiritual. Me and Gina just seen the video of Nick Berg being beheaded. The Iraq people think they are doing this for God, but it is god - Satan, not the Living God. When I seen that, all that could come out was tears . Please pray for the Berg family, they showed a picture of Nick's father in the front lawn sitting crying, being embraced by one of his other sons.

PSALM 27:1-6

THE LORD IS MY LIGHT AND MY SALVATION - WHOM SHALL I FEAR? THE LORD IS THE STRONGHOLD OF MY LIFE - OF WHOM SHALL I BE AFRAID? WHEN EVIL MEN ADVANCE AGAINST ME TO DEVOUR MY FLESH, WHEN MY ENEMIES AND MY FOES ATTACK ME, THEY WILL STUMBLE AND FALL. THOUGH AN ARMY BESIEGE ME, MY HEART WILL NOT FEAR; THOUGH WAR BREAK OUT AGAINST ME, EVEN THEN WILL I BE CONFIDENT. ONE THING I ASK OF THE LORD, THIS IS WHAT I SEEK: THAT I MAY DWELL IN THE HOUSE OF THE LORD ALL THE DAYS OF MY LIFE, TO GAZE UPON THE BEAUTY OF THE LORD AND TO SEEK HIM IN HIS TEMPLE. FOR IN THE DAY OF TROUBLE HE WILL KEEP ME SAFE IN HIS DWELLING: HE WILL HIDE ME IN THE SHELTER OF HIS TABERNACLE AND SET ME HIGH UPON A ROCK. THEN MY HEAD WILL BE EXALTED ABOVE THE ENEMIES WHO SURROUND ME; AT HIS TABERNACLE WILL I SACRIFICE WITH SHOUTS OF JOY; I WILL SING AND MAKE MUSIC TO THE LORD.

PLEASE PASS THIS EMAIL ON TO ANYONE YOU KNOW; WORDS OF ENCOURAGEMENT TO ALL.
In Christ,
-Your Sister

Wake up people, you are the ones that started the whole thing anyway. It is YOU who are the invaders using the word FREEDOM as an excuse for fullfilling your economical and political purposes. I've always been shocked for what happened on September 11th with all that innocent people killed, but maybe you should think about it and look back in history for reasons why it happened. Well, I'm sorry to say that maybe this game is played in both ways. I'm very sad for the family of this innocent young man and I hope God will help them with their pain.

I really don't understand how some people in this country can actually say that the United States of America does not belong in Iraq. This small group of TERRORISTS is the minority in Iraq and the majority of Iraq's people have delt with these cowards for years. This is just an example of what the terrorists want to do to Americans. They will try to fly another plane into a building, they will try to poison us, they will try to destroy the free world because that's the hatred they have toward us. They will not try to be civil nor will they try to be human. We need to support all our troops and need to realize that this world is an evil place made by the few like these men on this video. God bless all people how have died and will die for our freedom from these terrorists.

I am completely amazed that so many people are watching the actual footage. I had it described to me and was in tears.

In the last couple days or so, I've heard people say it's not fair that Mr. Berg was killed because he wasn't a soldier. What makes people think that everyone is going to follow the well intentioned rules of war? War, in and of itself means conquoring your enemy--soldier or civilian. These people aren't going to play by our fancy war rules!

Thus, because no nation confronted Hitler before he became strong, we had to live through a world war where MILLIONS lost their lives.

The mainstream media around the world proclaims the terrorists beheaded Nick Berg in retaliation for the so-called torture of Iraqi prisoners. But don't believe the bull shit. These medieval madmen don't need an excuse to torture, maim, and murder. They don't need an excuse to shoot a pregnant women in the head and then put bullets into the bodies of her four children, one as young as 2-years-old.

It's their mission in life to kill all Christians, Jews, Infidels, indeed, all in western civilzation who don't bow to their brand of Islam.

This war against the west started a long long time ago, but we're only now catching on to that gruesome fact...we are in a war. From the murdered athletes at the Munich Olympics, to the downing of numerous airplanes, and the bombings of embassies, nightclubs, hotels, and to the suicide bombings of innocent civilians, or the attack on the Cole, and the World Trade Center.
The hideous list goes on and on and on. Yet, some ignorant dupes still believe America is the great satan, and we are responsible for all the problems in the world. Lenin called this morons "useful idiots."

I suggest you read the article below, about the real father of this terrorist movement, and then check out the other articles. You will learn something new.

THERE ARE PROBLEMS IN AMERICA TOO!

its going to take far more than the beheading of an innocent man to convince me that all of the iraqi civilian lives we have taken were justified and necessary for the "greater good"

I live in olkahoma city, and although i was only in the second grade when the bombing occured, i remember it well. my mother worked in that building and was very blessed not to have died or even been seriously injured (unless you count psycologically) the point is there are good people and bad people everywhere. there are so many murderers and child molesters here in america...why not solve our own problems before we attempt to condem everyone else. THERE ARE PROBLEMS IN AMERICA TOO!

its going to take far more than the beheading of an innocent man to convince me that all of the iraqi civilian lives we have taken were justified and necessary for the "greater good"

and the ignorant comments some of you have made (lets nuke them!? or kill them all????) only make me feel more hopeless. as long as our people are this savage and completly stupid there is no hope for a better america, or a better tommorow.

That was a horrible thing that was done to him. I dont think this tape should be going around the internet. Yes i know there is a freedom of speech but this is taking it a little far.

and yes i would push the button and yes i will hold all of you muslims responsible its time you so called good muslims stood up and took care of your own problems if you are so called good people then fight the supposed "few" that smear your name and if you dont like it go back to the desert were you belong

save the big one for those that oppose us afterwards

I believe what those iraqis did, they did so as iraqis gruellia fighters fighting for their freedom of their nation I do not mean any disrespect but I beieve that if they were going to kill him they should have done so in a more humaine way. When at war with another nation everyone is a target whether they are civilians or the miltary. And I believe Australi should withdraw we did not invade iraq out of our conviction against iraq but rather as a insurance policy of American protection in case of a an attack from our northern neigbours.

You are god also.

I came out of curiousity to view the video. I have decided now that I need not. It is enough to read the posts.

People are playing a wonderful game of war and hate. It needs to play itself out on the stage of the world. The question is Can you watch the games and not judge it? Are you ready to do that? Otherwise you will add your energy to one side or the other and perpetuate the illusion of separation and duality. One side drives the other. The Good drives the Bad, Darkness drives the Light and so on for ever. Until enough of us refuse to participate in these games that include fear, blame and trying to make others change, we will continue to see the war outside of us that lives inside of us. Both sides say god is on their side. Now how can that be true? You are responsible for everything in your life. You are god! It's is time for many to awaken from the sleep.

Those of balance and love and compassion are holding the energy of truth and understanding on earth in great love for all humans and what they are going through. There exists in the world today evolved humans whose hearts are not filled with hate and disgust, nor are they dispondant and depressed because the world seems to be falling apart.

Leave others to play their games and create love in your hearts first. There are those not ready to accept the new understanding of god that is awakening in human consciousness all over, and they will simply choose to leave. All is accepted. It's all love. There will be more people leaving this earth as they cannot hold the higher energies of love and unity that are pouring down on us right now, and they do not want to stop their games. I hope you choose to open yourself to the love and hold the energy for others.

Would you be shocked to know that at the spirit level this whole incident was agreed to by all involved? It is so. Honor to all. And thanks to all here for your journey.

Hello im from germany , im 21 years old
i saw the Video and this is really wikkid stuff.

I have no opinion regarding "the american war".

Now i just think everything is something about bussiness over there.

Im sorry for his family.

Besides the tragic i also think that greed to makin bussiness leads to somewhat of this sort.

I was and still am against this 'war.' I get emotionally ripped when I see things like this. I wish to be sympathetic to the Iraqi people and other muslim nations. I try to understand why these terrorists would murder Nick Berg when he has no ties with the U.S. military. Should the U.S. then blame all muslim nations for the twin towers? Not all Americans believe in the U.S. government.

Posted by: chi-boy at May 13, 2004 10:12 PM

Every war we are in is nothing but bull shit. If we are going to fight then lets go in and kick ass and get the hell out. I don't think it is our war to start with, let them fight and kill each other, who cares except for the oil and we need to get our oil from other places and let them have all the oil. All the would should then not do any traiding with them or send them anything like food. But things have changed now. At this point I would love to see the US take all the people they have from those play cards and take the number one guy and behead him and tell those assholes over there if they touch another american we will behead the next one on the list. Time to kick ass.

Posted by: Dee at May 14, 2004 01:10 PM

To all posters. This scenario has and always will, replay itself again and again when people try to control other people and believe they have some divine right or moral obligation to do so. I am not a religious man, but I do know that whatever God there may be and whatever language He speaks, is repelled by the beheading of this poor soul. Christian, Muslim, Atheist, whatever. God speaks to you when you see this video. It's that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach. If I saw a video of anybody doing that to an Islamic Fundamentalist I would feel the same way. That is because it is wrong. Wrong, wrong, wrong. There is no good intent behind it. History does repeat itself. Anybody who really believes that America is only in Iraq for oil is shortsighted and foolish. Yes, we are in Iraq for our own selfish desires. The disire for a true world peace. The desire for a more secure U.S. The desire for a more secure world. The middle east has had many hundreds more years to try and develop the peace we have in the U.S. but they keep letting religion, or the bastardization of it, get in the way. The Middle East cannot figure out peace on there own. Period. You can have peace and cultural identity all at the same time. The U.S. continues to prove that. Let us help. There have been basically no uprisings against muslims in the U.S. Why? We know that is not the problem. Those comments about the U.S. being an occupier and wanting to spread its empire, hogwash. We want to make allies. We have things they want, they have things we want. The U.S. does not move into countries and take them over. You germans should remember this. Ask the older Koreans and Vietnamese. Ask the proud Japanese. Yes, the younger generations forget, and taunt the U.S. with false accusations and motives. Name any other country that has given back to those people that try to oppress them? One. Great Britain. One poster asked a great question. What do they really want from us? If we leave them be, then its our "economic" policy that leaves them behind. If we try to get involved then we are invading in thier foriegn affairs. The U.S. cannot win. Everything we do has the best of intentions. We screw up. But never with malice to the people of any other nation. Every war we have ever fought in our short history has benefitted the people of those countries when they let us help. When they still turn on us what are we expected to do? Turn the other cheek? More often than not, we do. It is absolutely crucial that these extremeists do not succeed in thier plans and no world citizen should be so short sighted as to not see the real implications here. Just look at what the Middle East has become from what it once was. Look at how it became that way. It happened way before there even was a United States. The Middle East can recover, The U.S. is truly trying to help, let us. Just look at history. I know people will bring up every bad thing the U.S. has done and say "See, see, see! Told you! Youre aweful, terrible people intent on destroying the world!" Where do you live now? Where would you REALLY be without the U.S. and if it is in the U.S. where can you freely go? Piss on it. All this matters for nothing. Even if everybody in the Middle East or any where, loved us right now, 30 years from now their children would be pissed off at us because we still have it figured out better than they ever will without our help. It all boils down to jealousy. They want some of what we have and tell them how they can get it but they don't want to work for it. They want it given to them. Their leaders don't want us to tell them how to get it because if we do, they won't be leaders. Blah Blah blah...........

Having just watched the video I am feeling rather sick. They could have made it quick, but they chose to make it slow and gruesome, knowing that if they posted it on the web it would cause this kind of reaction.

Get the US out of there now, and get us out with you. This war was wrong at the start, its wrong now. If we get out, you vote out that arsehole of a president you have and stop supporting Israel's policy of madness and we might have someplace to call a normal world in a few decades.

Posted by: Iain, Manchester, England at May 14, 2004 01:34 PM

I have viewed the video and it just goes to show you how uncivilized the middle eastern people still are. They are radicals when it comes to anything. One post on this site blames the US for all this, we were attacked and they just can't face the fact the Islamist are wrong and usually are on just about everything. they are third world, always have been always will be, most are uneducated and live in poverty and are to stupid to do anything about...REMEMBER THIS! if they had nukes they would have used them...we have them, they want them. We should finish this 3000 year old war once and for all against them. Pick a side and take up your arms or be ready to take your fate as Nick did. let's pullout of Iraq and let them suffer the fate the thugs in that country have in store for there own kind. Let them kill themselve and we will kill the rest.

As a human being, a mother, a wife, a rancher I have seen evil in numerous shapes & forms.
I came with the full intention of watching the Nick Berg Execution video.
I find I can not do so.
My outlook an life, being a Rancher is firm & realistic.
Slaughter of animals is reality to me.
There is a huge difference between the slaughter of Animals for any food chain & the slaughter of an Human Being.

These Inhuman Animals..... stike that, even Animals do not kill out of revenge, but nessesity.

The evil done in the name of any religion is wrong.
Fighting evil with evil is wrong.
Thoughout History, have we learned nothing?
You can never fight evil, with more evil.
You can not wish/pray/love it away, you can only deal with it by force, speedely & effectively.
Yes lives will be lost, but the price for Freedom is mostly paid for in blood.
As a non US Citizien I applaud the American People for trying to protect our FREEDOM though Action.
There is a difference between shame or degredation concerning Iraqi Prisoners & the gruesam slaying of Nick Berg.
Shame you can live with.
Death is final.
Why would anyone even look at the grusam execution video of an another human being?
My Imagination is enough for me without the graphic details of sound & vision.

This is not TV or a movie, this is real life.

My hear felt condolances go out to the Berg Familie & Friends of Nick Berg.

I read one report that said Mr. Berg was arrested by Iraq/coalition sources and in his posession were anti jewish propaganda and a copy of the Koran. Doesnt this seem a little odd for pocket wear. His hairdo and beard made him reseamble a middle eastern style. Although young guys always try out that first beard kinda thing. His last name was berg, a traditional jewish name and another report was about his passport and some kind of jewish identifier. Gee one of you reporter guys outta be falling all over this stuff. Im a Nam vet and I've seen some pretty gastly things. This was not a beheading, it was not honorable, nor was it painless, this was a hacking committed by a murderer not a war hero. If we do find these guys what will we do with them try them for murder, put them in prison for life and parole them in 7 years or will we do what it takes and just hangem.

Posted by: hangemhigh at May 14, 2004 04:34 PM

The people who committed this horrible act need to be dealt with severely.

For those who believe the U. S. has no business in Iraq, I remind you that they attacked us. We have a right to defend ourselves from attack. If you live in another country, you have no right to condemn us for our actions because it was not your country that was attacked September 11th.

We will do what we must to survive.

For those who believe that if we pull our troops out, they will stop all of the violence, your are being seriously mislead. These people who murdered Nic Berg are the same people who strap bombs on their children and tell them to go blow up as many people as they can. They are sick, sadistic, and they are human trash. They need to be killed. They will not stop killing people.

For those who don't agree with President Bush, you have a right to your opinion as do I. I am very proud of our President. You may not agree with him, but you have to admit that he stands upon his principles and he is leading this country. Everyone knows where he stands on issues.

Please pray for our soldiers fighting in harms way. And pray for the Berg family during their time of grief.

please don't take this comment the wrong way, because killing in any way is wrong, and it's a very difficult thing when it hits home. but there are too many people in this forum who are contradicting themselves by stating: kill, kill, kill, God bless the Berg's. Please think about what you are saying because you sound like an ignoramous.

I say Fuck these MOTHERFUCKERS. Kill them dead! I would like to kill this coward, piece of shit, prick (zarkoway sp?) with my bare hands. How much do you stupid fucking asshole liberals need to see. How much more equivocation will you make about the treatment of the Iraqi prisoner situation to acts propagated on innocents like Nick Berg, and the four American contractors that were burned, dragged through the streets and hung like meat? Enough of the 60's peacenik bullshit. That is exactly what it is. Quit crying about "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE". Fuck the asshole European pigs that raped Iraq and it's people during the FOOD for OIL UN bullshit. Fuck the stupid Ass Canadians who don't have a clue about what is going on because they only get liberal media controlled by one source. Lets stop worrying about what some stupid bullshit piece of shit countries that would be speaking German if we hadn't saved their collectives asses think. "Oh, they won't like us", "Oh, what will the Arab street think?" Who gives a fuck what they think! Lets stop the stupid political kiss ass bullshit and finish these assholes off!

You stupid asshole fucking liberals. "GIVE PEACE A CHANCE" what the fuck are you talking about? Did you forget who attacked who; How many times we were attacked before 9/11. I am sick of you assholes that talk about US intervention. You are assholes. We have entered other countries when our interests and our people were in danger from evil fucks whose thought processes began similar to yours. True idealist Stalin, Hitler, Polpot, Castro, Milosovich, Ho Chi Min ect. They begin as idealists and end up as brutal dictators who reek evil on many people with mass murder and true, brutal torture. Where was your fucking corrupt UN in Rwanda? What did they do in Cambodia? What are they doing in Serbia. I will tell you stupid fucking assholes, stealing American dollars and allowing mass murder. Ask Koffi's son where the money he got from Saddam is. You idiots see everything as an American conspiracy to take the world over. Name me one fucking country the US has occupied and Stayed in. None you fucking idiots!

Wake up America, Support our Troops and support the war effort. This war will follow us in and out of Iraq it will not go away because some of you want to run away. You fucking liberal cowards. If you so much as look cross-eyed at one of our soldiers in front of me I will kick your ass. I bet a whole lot of other people feel as angry as me. Speak up tell the Libs to shut up or you will kick their pussy asses. Tell the fucking hollywood elite to fuck off. Don't patronize films of the Libs. Send them a message.

Yeah I am angry, angry at stupidity, Alqada, and Radical Islamists. I am pissed at the libs for being stupid. I want them to be with us. They seem to be against all the US stands for. Go ahead have an opinion, disagree, but don't propagandize for the enemy.

That is all I have to say today.

Thanks for giving me a forum and please excuse my language. It is the only language that expresses my complete anger.

AN ANGRY AMERICAN

The USA is much worse to the Berg family than the Islamic murderers! Is the Berg father also a jew who supports those who kill Israeli children?
He hates the American system so much that he falls under "The enemy of my enemy is my friend". Pray for the peace of Jerusalem.

I was a member of UK Special Forces for many years from the mid 70's and saw action in Northern Ireland and more so in the Middle East. The Arabs/Muslims were always going to be the ones that caused the conflicts that we have seen over the years.

I have seen many things worst than the Nick Berg de-capitation...I have no doubt it is real by the way. I am sure that many worse things have happened over there than we know.

To all those who prescribe mass destuction of the Muslims...I do not agree...but to openly sent in hit squads to deal with the many cold blooded bastards that hide behind the Muslim "faith" is different...I say do it...I have been part of this in the past and nothing would give the world greater pleasure than to see their headless bodies displayed for all to see.

Posted by: Dave at May 15, 2004 05:53 AM

Not being funny guys but all you who are saying who attacked who first...well if I remember rightly Bush and Blair both came out saying that Iraq had WMD that they could launch at us in 40 mins notice.

1) That clearly was not true
2) No evidence exists that Iraq had anything to do with 9/11
3) Just because the Iraqi regime might have been happy with the 9/11 attacks, its no excuse to start bombing the crap outa them.

Now we find ourselves where we are now, in quite frankly a fucking mess, I read all the posts saying "nuke those fuckers and nuke anyone else that disagrees with us", I do sympatise with your anger but stop and think before you write crap like this, its unhelpful.

The way I see this we have 3 major issues to overcome before anyone can start living a normal life again.

1) Stop fucking these people over for the oil, its only gonna last another 50 years anyway. Better to put effort into figuring out what we are gonna do with 9 billion people (2050 estimate) wanting to get about in the world without any friggin fuel.

2) Quit selling unstable countrys weapons (in fact just quit selling them), just to go in 10 years later and say "shit they got all these guns, lets blow the crap outa them" its painfully transparent whats going on to anyone with a brain, and quite frankly its sickening.

Iraq "owes" the developed nations of the world $390Billion for weapons that WE sold SADDAM for HIM to TERRORISE THEM with. Wow I would be real pleased to be paying for that honour if I was an Iraqi.

3) Quit supporting the Israeli policy of genocide and land stealing. This is REALLY important, quite frankly I am shocked that the race that suffered the most in WWII can go about commiting the same kind of actions now, shame on you.

Oh and finally.

There is no fucking god, so fighting a war over which fictional character you believe in is no only pointless, its stupid.

Posted by: Iain, Manchester, England at May 15, 2004 06:04 AM

This is the product of the great USA.. Cultural totalitarianism.. The great morality of the USA has completely chaged the world. Now we are obsessed with the $$$.. Our lives aspire to achieving the impossible, being famous adn rich!
This is why the US are in Iraq. They put Saddam there to maintain status quo, for the black stuff! Most people believe everything as the truth.. wake up,well its too late for us anyway...who cares?

Neal Boortz wrote the following:

SORRY, MR.. BERG. BUT YOU'RE OUT OF LINE

There is just no imaginable way to understand the grief of Michael Berg. His 26-year-old son was brutally murdered -- his head sawed off -- by Islamic monsters, and the whole thing was videotaped and not appears on the internet for all the world to see. Michael Berg is and was against the war in Iraq, and, by all accounts, has never been a fan of George Bush. Nick Berg, on the other hand, was a supporter of George Bush and the war effort.

From the very time Nick Berg's body was found on a roadside in Iraq, Michael Berg has been making statements blaming the Bush administration for his son's fate. Now Michael Berg is telling the world that his son "died for the sins of George Bush and Donald Rumsfeld."

Sins? Does Michael Berg mean the sin of liberating over 10 million Iraqis from the brutality of Saddam Hussein? Saddam had rape rooms. In these rooms people weren't stripped naked and arranged in piles. They were raped, they were electrocuted, and they were murdered .. and no small number of them suffered deaths unlike that suffered by Nick Berg. Or maybe Michael Berg is talking about the sin of making sure that Saddam would never again use biological or chemical weapons against his own people, Iranians or anyone else, and that he would never succeed in his long-term goal of developing nuclear weapons. Perhaps Berg is referring to the sin of making sure that Saddam is never again capable of launching missiles into civilian areas Tel Aviv.

Quite a sinful guy, this George Bush. He stepped in where much of the rest of the world would not. He stepped in where the much-vaunted United Nations would not. He removed one of history's bloodiest dictators from power, and quite possibly saved the lives of untold thousands of people -- maybe tens of thousands of Americans or Israelis -- who were destined to become the victims of a terrorist attack with weapons too horrible to imagine; weapons supplied by Saddam Hussein.

After a decade of inaction by the United Nations ... which actually par for the course for the United Nations ... and in the face of the reluctance of our European "allies" to do anything (after all, they were getting big bucks from Saddam), George Bush acted. After 9/11 he was determined that no rogue nation, no nation that cooperated with terrorists, was going to be permitted to produce chemical, biological or nuclear weapons that could make their way into the hands of Islamic Jihadists. A bold policy? You bet. And thank God we had a president who was strong enough to take that stand.

Look ... there were only two ways to go here. Ignore Saddam, and let him continue with whatever his plans were. Maybe he would behave. But, again, maybe not. We would be taking that chance. We would be betting the lives of tens of thousands of Americans on the idea that Saddam wasn't going to proceed with his weapons plans, and wasn't going to continue his flirtation and cooperation with terrorists. Or .. the second choice .. we could remove the potential threat by removing Saddam from power. The world community gave him every opportunity to cooperate -- to play nice. He refused. Now he's gone. It took guts. Bush had guts.

As for Michael Berg. The last time I checked, Mr. Berg, the evidence was that your son traveled to Iraq on his one ... looking for work. He wasn't drafted. He wasn't conscripted. He wasn't forced. He made the decision, and unfortunately paid with his life. There are Islamic terrorists throughout the world, Mr. Berg. Your son could have gone to the Philippines instead of Iraq. Islamic terrorists have decapitated Americans there, too. Would you have also blamed that on Bush and Rumsfeld?

Wouldn't it be a travesty if Michael Berg were using the death of his son as an excuse to assign blame to a president he hasn't liked from the beginning? For now, we'll just chalk it up to grief. A few more words out of Michael Berg and we're going to start thinking otherwise.

Posted by: Sean at May 15, 2004 09:30 AM

I've seen worse. At least it's a quick death, better than dieing from an infected gunshot wound. Most Iraqis don't want coalition forces in Iraq (that wasn't the case initially, but it is now). We've made a mess of it, we should get out. As for Berg you have to question his intelligence, wandering round Iraq with no bodyguard as a Jewish American, just come from Israel with an Israeli stamp in his passport. Common sense ought to tell him not to go into an Arab war zone. Sure he didn't deserve to die, but that's Darwinism. He might have got out of Iraq had he not been arrested so you can understand why his family is blaming Rumsfeld.
