What's In Your Gullet?

My table had~~

Iced Water
Hot Water
Iced Tea
Iced Sweet Tea
Assorted Nuts (including, but not limited to; pecans, walnuts,
hazelnuts, almonds, Brazil nuts, salted peanuts, there were no
zagnuts)
Sweet Potato(e) casserole
Green Bean Casserole
Petit Jean Ham (direct from the picturesque Arkansas River Valley
pork plantations nestled in the idyllic plain between the Ouachita and
Ozark Mountain ranges)
Butterball Turkey (from some place that killed it, plucked it, froze
it,and then wrapped it in plastic)
Cornbread chicken dressing
Steamed Dressing direct from the turkeys hollowed torso
(s)Mashed potatoes
Gravy
Whole kernel corn
Twice Baked white bread dinner rolls
Relish tray (assembled by the inimitable Laura Emily Sadler
including but not limited to; celery with and without Philadelphia
cream cheese, carrots, green olives, black olives, pickled beets,
grape tomatoes, green bell peppers, gherkins sweet pickles, kosher
dill pickles)
Cranberry Sauce
Nestle's Signature Sugar Free Turtles
Russell Stover's Sugar Free Peanut Butter Cups
Pretty Good Pecan Pie
The World's Best Pumpkin Pie

The table was also accented by a beautiful harvest dinner floral
centerpiece which included bay leaves, golden wheat, goldenrods,
cat's tail, lovely golden leaves, and christmas fern leaves.

...And a good meal was had by all.

Ahhhh, if only I was among civilized folks again, the ones who know that "tea" and "sweet tea" should BOTH be served...
