It is a picture of Teddy Roosevelt and his Rough Riders shortly after their charge up San Juan Hill. It is one of my favorite pictures of fighting men of all time. However, all that changed one day in my AP U.S. History class in 11th grade. Click on the picture to see it full size and then take a look at the man in the khaki shirt standing right next and just behind Teddy Roosevelt. Who does that remind you of?
