« Talking Smack | Main | Unexpected Turns » October 04, 2003 Ahhh, October and Pumpkins Here it is again in October. As some other bloggers have discussed, it is nigh pumpkin carving time. By now, Holly and her little one will have already picked out their pumpkin and perhaps started carving it. If they have, for them it is too late. If you have not, be sure to take a moment to visit this site which gives you all the ideas and techniques to have the coolest pumpkin in the neighborhood. It also has patterns, lists the best power tools for pumpkin carving, and even includes a section on pyrotechnics. I think I'll use the road flare idea inside my pumpkin. Heh. We don't carve until the day before so our pumpkin is fresh and scary!!! Although, being moldy is kinda scary anyways... in it's own way!
