Belated Linkings

I was so swamped last week that I failed to add the obligatory linkage for some of my favorite blogosphere events. So with no further adieu--

Bonfire of the Vanities: Kevin always takes the time and sacrifice to allow us bloggers to demonstrate that even as vain as we are, we still can make fun of ourselves.

Carnival of the Vanities One Year Anniversary: Bigwig brings the Carnival back to its home blog for it's first anniversary. I have to share with you gentle readers a piece of the email I sent to him with my entry last week~~

I just want to say thanks again for coming up with the idea of the Carnival and for nurturing it on. I can honestly say that when I hosted #40, it was the turning point for my blog. It was my first link from the Insta-man and the exposure I received brought me out of the backwaters of blogspot. So, thank you also for the opportunity to host it.

Participating in the Carnival will get you some exposure you wouldn't nornally get. But hosting it puts you out there like you cannot imagine. For sure, t's a lot of work to host the Carnival, but the rewards make it more than worthwhile. Consider hosting it if you haven't already.
