Mars Flyby

When I heard the learn'd astronomer,
When the proofs, the figures, were ranged in columns before me,
When I was shown the charts and diagrams to add, divide, and measure them,
When I sitting heard the astronomer where he lectured with much applause in the lecture-room,

Remember tonight is the night that Mars will be the closest it's been to earth in 60,000 years. I've been watching it for several weeks now. Take a moment tonight and look up and see our red neighbor.

I got an e-mail the other day from someone (who will remain nameless) that they forwarded along, which basically said that Mars will appear bigger than the moon tonight. I can't WAIT to see this now! :)
