Scratching Our Way To Victory

I am utterly humbled by the great support you the loyal readers have shown me by propelling Team Adam to the significant lead we now hold in the Sexiest Male Blogger Contest. We've almost reached our goal of not only winning, but winning by a majority rather than a plurality. At last check, we were at 47%--good enough to win the California recall election, but not quite reaching our goal.

As promised, we haven't engaged in the politics of personal destruction like some have. It has paid off. We had led the tormentor by 10--at last check we lead him by 22.

I'm not sure which time zone Alice is in, but she part of the game is the polls close at 5 p.m. So, if that's EST, you have a little less than a half hour to cast your vote for Single Southern Guy as the sexiest male blogger. Need another reason and visual representation for why you should vote for Single Southern Guy?

It's because I am secure enough in my masculinity to fly a kite at the beach in December. And by flying that same kite, I illustrate my belief in the brightest future possible for all who share our hopes and dreams of a better world.

Uhmmm, Holly, the finals are tomorrow. Today's votes are the final prelims. I won, that means I go to the finals.
