A Single Southern Guy In America

August 19, 2003

And We Rally Forward!

And at last check, loyal and gentle readers, we have surged ahead in the polls and are leading the pack. However, we only have a plurality. We want to win in convincing fashion! We want to take a clear majority home from the field of nine.

There are only a few hours left before the polls close. If you haven't voted yet--go now and cast your vote for Single Southern Guy. If you already voted, thank you and encourage your friends and readers to vote.

And is typical of heated campaigns, candidates far behind in the polls go negative and make up lies to smear your name. But, bloggers, rest assured, I will stay positive in this campaign. I offer you a vision of A Single Guy In The South illustrating his commitment to education, children, and helping our developmentally disabled.

A Single Guy In The South posing for a group picture with the 4-year old class at a school for pre-elementray developmentally disabled children after reading Green Eggs and Ham on Dr. Suess's birthday.

Remember this is the prelim--if we make it to the finals Team Adam will have to make a full court press to get the vote out for the championship.

Special thanks to Yeti, Holly, and Gennie for their support.

UPDATE: After Bill's treacherous lies and smears, I received two more votes. He received...none.

Did you see the photo of Dr. Frank?

Meow.

Meow?

Okay, since I'm not head to head with him in this prelim, I'll allow you to make cat noises about him. However, when we get up against him in the finals, I hope I can count on some sugar from the Sugarmama!

Oh, and one more thing--

rar.

But do you like green eggs and ham? And would you eat them with a goat?

That's what I want to know.

Posted by: Rita at August 19, 2003 03:43 PM

I tried Green Eggs and Ham once. I did not eat them with a goat and I did not eat them on a boat. And, I swallowed them.

Posted by: Adam at August 19, 2003 03:45 PM

Hmmm...I'll have to think about this. I do so like Green Eggs and Ham.

That kid second from front right looks so bored, he cracked me up.

Posted by: sugarmama at August 20, 2003 09:18 AM

He was just drowsy after filling up on all the green eggs and ham they had just finished.
