July 15, 2003Poetry anyone?Michele discusses a Dave Barry meme about a poetry contest. Here's the basics-- Wouldn't it be fun if a lot of people submitted poems using a Pen Name that began with "Freemont" and incorporating the phrase, "the dog ate mother's toes"? Then we all could search for poems written under the first name of "Freemont" -- currently, this blog is the only one -- and see how creative everybody was!
Alright I'm in with a poem about the Tucker Max v. Miss Vermont debacle. (you've really got to understand the whole story about lawsuits, etc to understand the poem) Read on to see my poem... A Tale of an 'Anti-ho' Ho I once knew a girl who sewed. Everything seemed fine for time, She showed she could blow And then was a hellion, The guy with the lines And at last the 'anti-ho' ho Her mommy and she took their claim At first they were winning, But justice prevailed and the yarn returned. The guy with lines may be a dog, They tried hard, mommy and 'anti-ho' ho, By Free(mont)Max Tucker Posted by Adam H at July 15, 2003 12:30 PM ~ Link Cosmos | Trackbacks (0)Comments

Howdy!
Welcome to my humble little corner of the blogosphere! Not too many rules here--love your neighbor, go easy on the brews, and don't shoot the jukebox. Make yourself at home and remember Momma don't like for you to put your feet on the kitchen table.
