February 18, 2003SO, It's been a week
Not that I have any readers who would have noticed yet, but I've taken my time getting this site rolling. Yes, Valentine's Day has came and went and I have plenty to share. I guess I just need to get on the ball and post more frequently. So, to bring you a little more up to date, I wouldn't quite say that I'm'dating' anyone per se right now, but am seeing at least two people with others in the wings. Then, of course, there's always the accidental encounters that go range from something to nothing. Like the only dinner I had with a lady on Valentine's Day. Granted, it was at a greasy Waffle House imitator after 2 a.m. and a night of unintended drinking, but such has been my life this year. Of course, I had other options for Valentine's dinners/encounters, but instead was asked and thusly volunteered to drive five hours from home to assist another executive set up a new showroom in the retail capital of the world--Bentonville, Arkansas. I have recently been able to describe my single life as this: Weird, odd, and unusual circumstance are drawn to me by some powerful invisible force. It is almost as if I am the well intended earth and those strange circumstances are my moon, pulling my tides, affecting the moods of people who walk upon me. That being said, it has been a full moon for near two fortnights. Sigh. Thank God for friends in whom I can confide and some whom I cannot.
