Had To Take A Day Off

Sorry for the absence of posts today. After all the time I put into the Carnival, I need a day to relax and read other people's blogs (Ya down wit OPB? Yeah, you know me!)

Anyways, the probs of today have included--

our ISP going down twice,

the Klink Family's Blog Out has been closed for maintenance, (thus I installed the enetation that no one has commented in yet)

and I learned I'd be taking a road trip today. Sometime, at some point, in just a bit. You get the picture.

I had hoped to be out of town by 2, but alas, I'm here blogging about it to you.

In any event, I am headed out shortly, going to the #1 area according to the Best Performing Cities index compiled by the Milken Institute. Thanks to Rita for that factoid.

I'm looking forward to the trip, but I wish I had more notice and could be there earlier. I might have been able to meet up with this couple and this couple. Sorry guys. If I get a chance to extend the trip I'll email you.

Note from the site counter whore side of me: We did indeed exceed 2000 hits on Wednesday and from that morning till today we have blown past #7000, #8000, and today #9000. It doesn't seem like that long ago when it was a big deal for me to hit my first #1000. (It was a Monday when I noted that I was 13 visitor away from hitting 1000. It was Tuesday before it finally crawled over.)
Again, it's the regulars and loyal readers who I owe it all to. And welcome all the newcomers who blogrolled me since the Carnival.

Off to Fayetteville. Blog ya when I blog ya.
